Pretty Muddy® isn’t like any other fundraising event.
It's a 5k muddy obstacle course that everyone, no matter their fitness level, can take part in!

How Pretty Muddy works
Pretty Muddy® events are in waves, each starting 15 minutes apart to make sure everyone on the course is safe. If you enter as a group, make sure you all enter the same wave as you cannot move waves once you’ve signed up.
You must be 13 years of age or over at the time of your event - for kids aged 12 and under, check out our awesome Pretty Muddy Kids events!
If you have a pre-existing medical condition, you should seek your doctor’s advice before registering.
How we're keeping you safe
As always at our events the health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers is our top priority. We'll continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated with our planning, much of which will focus on how we deliver a safe event in the context of all necessary COVID-19 guidelines and precautions.
We're working proactively with our venues and suppliers to deliver a great experience on site.

We want you to give every single obstacle your absolute best. Of course if you really can’t do it, our Pretty Muddy® marshals will help you skip on to the next one.
Want to enter as a group?
You can take part in any of the Race for Life events as an individual or a group. If you'd like to take on Pretty Muddy® with a group of friends or family, then we have all the information you need.
On the day
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide lockers, changing facilities or showers at these events, so please bear this in mind on the day.
Only pack the essentials and please don’t bring too much or anything too valuable.
How long does it take to complete?
The obstacles vary at each event so we can’t say exactly how long it will take, but most people will finish in about an hour.
Remember - our events aren’t competitive so there is no pressure to finish in a certain time.
Your entry fee can't beat cancer. Only you can.
Whilst your entry fee covers the cost of your event, it's those valuable donations that will help save lives – which is why we ask our participants to raise a minimum of £50.

Our events couldn't happen without our amazing volunteers.
We're always on the lookout for folks to help at our events. If you know any lovely people joining you on the day who can offer a spare pair of hands, why not make a day of it and volunteer together? You'll have a great time meeting our fabulous fundraisers and other volunteers, all while soaking up the event atmosphere. It'll be a day to remember!
